Online Coworking Sessions

Every Morning 10:00 - 11:00 CET/CEST

A group of six people on their computers connected over the Internet.

Hosted by Lukas Rosenstock

Do you work alone and struggle with procrastination?! Yeah ... I've been there, too!

Sometimes, it helps to be in another room with people. Even if you don't directly work together, the mere presence of other people can boost productivity. It is also known as body doubling or parallel working. The great thing is that it doesn't just work in the same room; it works online as well!

Lukas portraitMy name is Lukas. I'm a self-employed professional in tech. I learned about the concept of virtual coworking sessions in Ness Labs and organized coworking in the community for multiple years. Now, I'm making these sessions available to everyone!

It works like this: we meet as a group on a video call, everybody shares what they're working on, and then we set up a 25-minute timer, following the Pomodoro Technique. During the focus block, we keep cameras on and microphones off and work on our things. Then, we do a quick check-in round and continue with another. One hour, two pomodoros, a great start for your day!

The great thing about doing this as a group is that, occasionally, we can actually help each other with advice on our tasks during the break, even if everyone is working on a different project or even in a different field. A new perspective can be valuable.

Participation in these sessions is free of charge and you don't have to commit to showing up every day; you can just come and go as you like.

I intend to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for people from all walks of life. Be kind and respectful of other coworkers. Rude or discriminatory behavior may lead to exclusion from future participation.
